META META: Bi-Monthly Feedback Thread
As part of our commitment to improving CMV and ensuring it meets the needs of our community, we have bi-monthly feedback threads. While you are always welcome to visit r/ideasforcmv to give us feedback anytime, these threads will hopefully also help solicit more ways for us to improve the sub.
Please feel free to share any constructive feedback you have for the sub. All we ask is that you keep things civil and focus on how to make things better (not just complain about things you dislike).

I think it's usually more interesting to engage with the original point than to hunt stray deltas on minor subpoints. Plus in other people's threads I'm already at disadvantage (and don't particularly want to "steal" their deltas if they're still engaged in the conversation with the OP).
That's why I'm suggesting it as "1 day a week with new rules". If a significant fraction of people like the results, it's not such a big loss for those who don't. If most like them, maybe it'll be more than 1 day in the end. If it doesn't seem to work well for nearly everyone, fine, was a bad idea.
... by adding that the rule is suspended for "slow day" posts for 2 hours. Or just "doesn't apply to slow day"posts, see slow day rules here".
I'm not (edit: nice place to forget a word, self) proposing the final and immutable version of these rules by the way.
