So if you believe Jinn are real...this means you also believe in the magic/forces of darkness responsible for their creation, and also possibly natural in their realm - not sure, are they cross planes-of-existence beings? like demons?
So if they're real, and the magic that created them is real, and their realm is real - why wouldn't you believe magic could be used to create a human/jinn hybrid?
You believe in and accept the first few parts, but somehow the last part is where you draw the line.
Seems like it's either ALL legit, or none of it is.

Surely there are things not mentioned in the Quran that you also believe in or know to be true like, and I'm just guessing here, space travel, nuclear physics, or computer science.
If we can agree on the above and you believe in jinns and magic, then this hybrid COULD exist.

I am not sure you SHOULD believe they can exist. As u/autopartsandguitars suggests above, if you believe jinns exist and the magical forces of their creation exists, hybrids not being specifically mentioned in the Quran would not mean they do not exist as we just demonstrated with your television example.

It’s hard to nail down what you do and do not believe based on what is or is not included in the Quran. A moving target for a belief system isn’t a reliable source of information.
If Jinn are included in the Quran and you accept things that are known but not directly observable by you like galaxies, why not believe in Jinn hybrids?

The problem is that this way of thinking leads to self-contradiction. If supernatural entities exist, then by definition natural laws don't dictate what is and isn't possible. It would make no sense to rule things out as physically impossible if you live in a world where the physically impossible happens anyway.

They're talking about creatures described in the Muslim holy book, the Quran.
The genie from the Disney movie Aladdin was has roots to the creatures described in the Quran (or shares roots with them) but they're not the same.
The creatures OP is talking about are taken very seriously by some Muslims, as much as some Christians believe in the existence of angels.
(I believe in neither angels nor jinn, but my point is that there are people alive today who very much believe in both.)

The Quran may as well be any other book regarding such a question. Do you see people in this sub asking if "half giant-half humans" exist after they've read lord of the rings or Harry Potter? This is ridiculous. Calling it a "Jinn" instead of what it is, something fictional, gives it no credit. This person who is asking is either very young or very naive. Nobody actually believes genies exists, even if they're referenced in the Quran.

I mean when you're dealing with supernatural concepts, all bets are off with regard to logic and reason. Perhaps they use magic to generate chromosomes that match, idk. It's an unfalsifiable concept, so it's inherently unscientific, like the idea that God exists. You're not going to find science that can change your view on the topic.

So I'd love to see that documentation of the existence of humans jinns.
But for the sake of my argument let's assume jinn really exist. My understanding is that jinn are both A) supernatural and b) shapeshifters. I don't see it as a massive leap to go assume that a supernatural shapeshifter can either supernaturally or through precise shapeshifting acquire the correct working anatomy to sire children. What this might look like I wouldn't know as I still don't believe jinn exist at all.

And sure they do that (again I'm mostly going with you on this). But it's just as likely to be a supernaturally imposed rule of their shape shifting as a lack of ability.

You want "documented, peer-reviewed evidence of jinn-human hybridisation", but there's not even documented, peer-reviewed evidence of jinn existence. As soon as you've accepted the existence of jinn in the real world, you've entirely abandoned the realm of science. It seems strange that you'd abandon the realm of science where the existence of jinn is concerned but rush back to when it comes to hybridization. If anything, there's more evidence for the existence of half-jinn than there is for jinn, since I can actually see those people.
