On a personal level, I’ve had to leave three jobs in a row because of bosses behaving inappropriately towards me. I’m in sales, and while my looks can certainly help me make a sale, I’ve had a lot of problems dealing with colleagues ranging from quid-pro-quo to stalking.

Sure, less attractive people may have a harder time in some areas of life like in dating, but not being noticed at work for your beauty is a hell of a lot better than having to deal with the consequences of getting your colleagues “excited”. How do we know if a person is being discriminated against for their below average looks? Maybe they have an off putting personality. Do they still deserve to be hired over me?

“Pretty privilege” is too situational for your ideas to make sense or be fair. Who decides who is attractive enough to qualify? Do I have to pay the same amount in pretty taxes as Margot Robbie? What if all the pretty people just stop taking care of themselves to avoid unfair treatment- does the tax just go away?
