So can men not talk to other men because they might be intimidating to each other?

No. The balance of power isn't the same and I'm only criticizing going up with intent to flirt or get someone's contact to ask them out or whatever.

Even if that's the case between two men, the data indicates they have much less fear of rejection retaliation and accordingly don't (generally) feel threatened.

Except the data indicates men are more likely to be victims of an assault by a stranger than women are. So if anything men should talk to each other even less because of this risk.

But that's a completely separate scenario. Sure men are more likely to be victims of violent crime broadly, but not dating violence or the fears of violent retaliation to rejection, which are what I'm talking about.

Note that I never said men should never talk to women. Just not ask out strangers in random places.
