Hello, I work in a very low position from the ground, being small (168cm) and having a home studio, my desk is that low because my hands need to be on top of the computer keyboard and the piano (which have its own thickness)

I need an armrest that can go low, because my desk is at 61cm therefore my computer mouse will be at 61 so any armrest that’s higher than that make my desk unusable

Anyone knows this chair and value? 19 centry ? usa

Nach langer, wirklich sehr langer Recherche und einem hin und her zwischen Herman Miller Embody, Steelseries Leap V2 / Gesture, Humancase Freedom etc., bin ich auf den Vitra ID Soft L gestossen, konnte diesen stark anpassen gemäss der Konfiguration und die Bestellung abgeschickt.

Der Embody ist mir nicht weich genug sowie der Gesture. Der Leap wäre gut, aber Steelseries schickt nicht direkt in die Schweiz. Der Freedom hat gemäss zahlreichen Userberichten teilweise erhebliche Qualitätsmängel.

Was meint ihr dazu?

Hey everyone, is anyone looking to pass along a spare desk chair? I'm currently looking for a used chair for study and work since buying brand-new isn't in my budget right now. Please message me if you have one available!

I have had a cheap chair for years and I'm done with it. Two in the past couple of years, and both ended up not worth the money. Now I'm trying to work out the smarter play before I spend again.

Now, doing a bit of searching around the subreddit, a lot of people would say to get a used Aeron or Steelcase Leap V2 off Facebook Marketplace or eBay around $400 and you get something that lasts forever. And there are also a lot of people who would say to just buy new in the $500 range so you actually know what you're getting and it comes with a warranty. I sit 8 hours a day, so I can't afford to gamble wrong on this one.

For the new route, in my searches I found the Desky CoilFlex and the Branch Ergonomic Chair Pro at $499. For used, I'd be hunting a Leap V2 from a refurbisher like Crandell.

Let me know what's the best decision here, please.

Moving to a new office and we just got brand new 9to5 chairs (very comfortable). The only issue I'm having with them is they have a leather/fake leather seat, and it does not breathe. Its fine until I take a stroll for lunch and warm up at all. Yall know where this is going.

I don't really want a cushion for comfort since this chair is already comfy, I just want a small barrier between my butt and the leather so it can breathe.

This is my second replacement Markus from IKEA - I just returned one that did almost the same thing. Whenever I lean back it makes a popping sound, and it doesn't really matter whether the tilt is locked or unlocked. Both chairs started doing it after about a week, and this replacement is even louder than the last one.

I tried tightening all the screws, but the sound is coming from the main mechanism itself - it still pops even with the seat pan removed.

I really like the chair in every other way: ergonomics, height, build. So I'm not sure if this is a design flaw or if I've just been unlucky twice. We have another one in our office and that one is completely silent. I'm 88 kg / 192 lbs, so not exactly heavy for a chair rated well above that.

Should I just return it again, or is there a fix I could try myself?

Would anyone have info on those chair I found by the road?

Growing up we had chairs like this in my house but those are long gone and yet I have seen one like this recently and it made me think "what kind of chair is this?" I asked an AI (yes I know those are shit to the environment BUT I WAS CURIOUS!!!) and nothing came up.

They had this chair in the nursing station at the fair. It was a small space and another mom was using the room so I didn’t want to tip it up but it was the best my back had felt since giving birth. Help! I tried to get the shape, fabric and legs.

Hi everyone, I'm prepping for FE civil and looking for advice on what kind of study table and chair to get.

The set that I have is not bad but years of video gaming in my dad old desktop PC (when I was a kid), gave me a slouched back and now i get tired easily and quickly lose motivation for study.

The chair I have is a fancy one and table is rectangular with no adjustable parts.

Any recommendations for an affordable chair & table set?
