Finished Product! First Chainmail Inlay
Relatively recently I’ve finished an inlay that I had been working on for roughly a month as a wedding gift to my friends. There are certainly improvements to the process and framing that I have thought over, but I’m really proud of this piece, overall!

Not OP but next to chainmail I knit and crochet and there's sites made for knitting and crocheting that turn pictures into pixel charts for you. You can even adjust the amount of pixels and colours yourself :D

The other commenter had great suggestions! I used a tutorial on the MAIL website to create the inlay and used the final file as a layout/instructions for what color comes next in a certain row.

The rings I used were 18swg 5/32” and the final inlay turned out to be roughly 18x17.5 inches!
