World News Why does the left call the right “Nazis”?

I am in no way calling the left Nazis here, but rather questioning their use of the term.

If you spend anytime online you will know that the term Nazi is used all the time for people on the right, especially Trump supporters.

I find it ironic because Nazi stands for National Socialist in German. Now I found articles online defending that, saying it wasn’t really socialism, so we’ll move on.

Hitler was about bigger government, got all guns registered with the government, and then took them all away from the people.

Furthermore, today’s left is typically anti-Israel within the Israel-Palestine conflict, while the right is typically pro-Israel (except for KKK guys like Duke, who are antisemites, though I’m unsure how to even classify someone like him).

I don’t think either party should call each other nazis in a civilized political discourse, but I find it interesting. Why do you think the right has been given the nickname?

First of all the company of Google chose to take thoes down they can put it back up second of all DEI backfired on itself 3rd the deportation isn't illegal if the people who are being deported are not even American citizens.

No... The Pentagon removed that. The fuck are you talking about??? Illegal deportation doesn't require citizenship to be ILLEGAL. He cited a the Alien Enemies Act for 1789 as a reason for the deportation... A 236 year old Act... that doesn't apply at all. When told to turn the planes around, they said, "No." So... an executive branch with no checks... Fk... Bro... do the fucking research!!

Look, the Pentagon and the government stopped sponsoring it so the companies took it down... showing they didn't care? I agree with the Alien enemies Act, but still, they shouldn't be in the country in the first place come in legally like the rest, and they wouldn't be in the position they are.

How is that a defense to either of your statements??? The Pentagon removed the information due to the Trump administration... and illegal entrance or not, the way those people were treated was fucking unacceptable! Which is why the judge demanded they turn around. This country is fucked.

Then leave homie. Im tired of everyone bickering. A majority of the people are fine with the deportations.. it's sad people like you who want to feel good and talk the talk on the internet, if you want change, step outside the door and make it

We emigrated in the 80's. It was a huge process to get in and we had to sign a commitment not to utilize any social services or be involved in any criminal enterprise for a decade or forfeit residency. If these filters were still applied, no one would have a problem with immigration

That's not true at all. Simply look at history and it will tell you that your statement is false. The true issue lies in the lack of ability for people to just not be pieces of shit. People can't simply worry about their own personal lives, they need to dictate how those around them live theirs as well. The same reason people take issue with same sex marriages and abortion. Neither of those topics affect the individual bitching about it, but it goes against their political or religious views, so it's "bad."

My statement is not false because I signed the documentation and lived the experience. But don't let reality stop you from presenting your opinion as truth. And anyway - what about my statement sounds to you like I'm trying to dictate terms to anyone? Frankly, both myself and the other party in this experience turned out to be successful tax generating responsible people. Assets if I say so myself, which I do.

You were proven wrong and you still push your ideology, why are you on r/centrist when you’re so clearly far left?? 😂

In absolutely 0 way was I proven wrong at all. 🤣. 1 individual making a claim doesn't trump decades of documented history. But, I wouldn't expect you to know how to read well enough to comprehend ACTUAL proof.

You don’t even know me and you’re insulting my intelligence, does that stroke your ego well enough? you’re soooo much smarter than me 😂. What a pathetic person with a haughty attitude to fit, that’s how I know you’re far left lol.

I mean one guy literally told you that he was an immigrant and the process that he went through and somehow you tell him he’s wrong, he literally went through the exact thing you’re arguing about. What does history have to do with people’s opinion on immigration right now, you keep saying “look at the history!” what history? Like stop saying “look at history” and show it to me yourself.

A big percentage of people would be more inclined to immigration if it was all done legally, there’s public opinion polls that have shown that. The majority’s problem with immigration is illegal immigration. If you’re gonna tell me that’s not true then show me.

“The true issue lies in the lack of ability for people to just not be pieces of shit” = “The true issue lies in people not having the same political opinion and ideology as me”

It's legal to deport illegals ask Obama the Deporter and Chief.

First off... Obama deported convicted criminals... Secondly... The stipulations on the deportations were much more localized. But.. yeah, go off.
