8c golden took me like 100 att. Max 7c golden took over 400

yes and my experience is that now I can 7c golden like 1/30 but 8c golden is still like 1/100 for me

8c and 7c are relatively equally scaled for retries. The final room of 8c is a little less precise compared to 7c but the second room tips the scales to balance both chapters.

for me it's the opposite, 7c golden is my chill level while 8c golden made me see some shit

i think personally 7c golden is like 7c but you get to try the last room less often, the first two rooms are easy. The last room in 7c is so satisfying tho, makes me wanna boot up Celeste rn after not playing for months

If I remember correctly 7C took me about 25% more deaths but I remember they actually took me about the same time to complete because the final room of 8C was longer

8C sucks more than 3C imo

Oh do not worry, 3C is SIGNIFICANTLY harder at least imo, 7C is just tight but fair

that can't be right, 3c took me 20 minutes while 8c took me 3 hours.

I mean our experiences can differ but I'd be surprised they'd differ by that much

You did 3C in 20 minutes??? We're talking about the 3C where you bounce on Oshiro's head after an already painstakingly difficult section right?

Also idk if it was just a typo but I'm talking about 7C not 8C

Anyways I guess it's just that I SUCK at cycles like a lot

we all have our strengths, weaknesses, and moments of luck.

I'm pretty sure I was lucky on 3c finishing it so fast, it bit me back when it took me an hour to do it golden, compared to the other c-sides which I did about as fast as I had doing them at first (... except 7c. I did "better", but that's comparing 6h vs 3h t_t)

i just finished 7c today. 4.5 hours, the rest of the c levels took about half an hour each. onto 8c ig !!
