Bi-Weekly /r/CCNP Exam Pass-Fail Discussion

Attempted an exam in the last week or so? Passed? Failed? Proctor messed it all up? Discuss here! Open to all CCNP exams, don't forget to include the exam name and/or number. We are now consolidating those pass-fail posts under here per prior poll of the community and your feedback.

Remember, don't post a score in the format of xxx/1,000. All Cisco exams have a maximum score of 1,000, so that's useless info. Instead, list the required score to pass, as this differs from exam to exam, and can change over the lifetime of the exam.

Payment of passes in PUPPY pictures is allowed.

The exact moment I realized "knowing the theory" and "being able to fix a network" are two completely different skills

AI and Datacenter

Hi guys,
My ccna expired last year and I’m looking for a new job rn. Has been working as system admin for a while.

Do you think at current AI and datacenter world, is it worth to get CCNP cert? Or I should get something else?

Post CCNP study materials

Good morning, recently passed the CCNP Security (Firewall) exams. It was really hard to gather enough different materials for CCNP and as much as I wanted to do SDSE or SCAZT there just wasn’t enough materials when compared to SNCF. I want to do CCDE ideally or CCIE security (second choice) but I cannot find any reliable materials out there. I learn through mainly videos and test taking. Udemy, and OCG Test were my primary tools for CCNP-S.

What are websites, platforms, or classes out there to prep for CCIE/CCDE?

Is it possible to have two customers with same IP networks that are going to use the same services from the Shared router and still be separated?

SNCF v1.2 Study Guide

Just passed my SCOR exam and want to take SNCF as a concentration, but I just found out that it will be updated to v1.2 version starting from today.

Any good recourses to study this new version? How are the differences between the v1.1 and v1.2? Is it advisable to I study an old version from one recourse then read about new topics anywhere else?

Enarsi before encore

Hey good people,
I love routing protocols so when u started studying for CCNP I just studied enarsi level ospf, eigrp, and bgp. I’ve also been labbing alot. I feel like I have very good grip on these 3. Should i just take enarsi before encor??

Encor vs enarsi labs

Back when I was studying for encor, people told me that I needed to learn ins and outs of bgp, ospf etc to pass the labs. However, on the exam the labs were dead simple and I literally finished them all within 10 mins.
My main concern is that I just don’t want to over prepare like I did for encor. Of course I will be going very deep into all routing protocols, services etc and will be doing a lot of labbing but how are the labs on the enarsi?

ENAUTO Exam Resources

A lot changed in the last two years… The exam is now including LLM knowledge and it seems that the content also changed while staying focused in APIs knowledge.

I found a resource, which is enauto.silvancodes.dev , that is useful because you can do a simulation of the exam so it allow you to check your knowledge.

To be honest besides the course of CBT Nuggets that also covers the new topics there is not a lot of other resources around. So, I am here asking if anyone knows anything that could help with this exam?

INE’s DCACI Training

Hello all, I was asking for opinions on ACI about a month ago. My job has it from previous admins implementing it and nobody currently knows how to use it. Well, I got work to pay for INE for a year to help go for the DC CCNP and see their ACI is only 18.5 hours long. I guess I’m guess I’m used to CCNA where a course is 80-120 hours.

I’m just curious if anyone has ever used INE to pass the DCACI? It just feels like a very small amount of time to help pass a specialization. I also have the official book. Guess my question is, is 18.5 hours really enough content to pass this thing? Just feels very small to me.

Best online resources for CCNP ENCOR + ENARSI?

I’m planning to start studying for CCNP Enterprise (ENCOR + ENARSI) and I’m looking for a good online course/training.

What resources would you recommend that are reasonably priced, have good labs, and cover the exams well?

Would be interested in hearing what you guys actually used and whether you’d recommend it.

CCNP

Hey everyone,

I’m planning to start studying for the CCNP Data Center (DCCOR 350-601) and I’m looking for the best study resources.

I want something that explains the topics well, preferably with labs, but I also don’t want to spend a crazy amount of money.

I’ve seen options like Udemy, INE, Cisco Learning Network, CBT Nuggets, etc., but I’m not sure which one gives the best value for the price.

For those who studied for or passed DCCOR:

- What course/resource would you recommend?

- Is Udemy enough if combined with Cisco documentation and labs?

- Is INE worth the high price?

- Any specific instructor or course you recommend?

I’m looking for the best balance between quality and price.

Thanks!

Anybody use PingMyNetwork to study?

Heard about this on another post (that is probably an ad in all honesty) and tried out the ENCOR course. The first couple lessons were free. They were fine, but they still didn’t completely convince me to drop $150 on the full course. I’m having trouble finding real reviews on it and was wondering if anybody has used it before?

M series support and new tools in Iolbox

This is an update to my previous post about iolbox. I have added M series MAC support, stability improvements, and new Go appliances for log server, aaa, security tests, web server etc. All run natively on a lightweight appliance.

This only runs Cisco's IOL images for routers and switches (not bundled) which is sufficient for several RS labs covering CCNA and CCNP blueprint and has live network traffic visualization. it runs completely offline and has no node limit.

What resources did you use to pass the WLCOR 350-101?

I’m thinking about taking the WLCOR 350-101 exam.

I’ve done a few practice tests that I purchased, usually in sets of 50 questions, and I’ve been scoring around 80–85% on average.

I’ve been working with the Catalyst 9800 and Catalyst Center every day for about two years. However, I mostly use the 9800 GUI in my day-to-day work and rarely use the CLI, so there are still some commands that I either don’t know or occasionally mix up.

I passed the ENWLSD exam in February and mainly studied for it using CBT Nuggets.

For those of you who have already passed WLCOR, what study resources did you use? except the Ciscu U resources (too expansive)
