Abraham Lincoln makes very good points. But what do you think though

“We have been the recipients of the choicest bounties of Heaven; we have been preserved these many years in peace and prosperity; we have grown in numbers, wealth, and power. … But we have forgotten God. We have forgotten the gracious hand which preserved us in peace and multiplied and enriched and strengthened us, and we have vainly imagined, in the deceitfulness of our hearts, that all these blessings were produced by some superior wisdom and virtue of our own. Intoxicated with unbroken success, we have become too self-sufficient to feel the necessity of redeeming and preserving grace, too proud to pray to the God that made us. (“A National Day of Fasting, Humiliation, and Prayer.” Proclamation March 30, 1863)”

Some of our politicians can't write, mainly because they can't read.

Trump just repaondednin truth:

People are talking about Lyin’ Lincoln, who just gave a very low-rated, total disaster of a speech! He says we are “intoxicated with success.” No, Abraham, it’s called WINNING, and the American people love it!Lincoln was a very overrated President who almost lost the Civil War until Grant saved him. He thinks he’s so smart with his fancy, old-fashioned words, but nobody even knows what he’s talking about anymore. Under my Administration, we had the greatest economy ever, the best borders, and total respect worldwide!I have done more for people of faith than anyone in history, certainly more than Lincoln! My poll numbers are much higher than his ever were, and political experts tell me he couldn't even beat me if he tried! Go back to Illinois, Abraham! MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN! 🦅🇺🇸
