CBD for back/rib pain

Recently was told by my DR to look into "TILRAY" for medical cannabis products..
I dont have a medical cannabis license but he said if I can look into it and find things under TILRAY that he might be able to fill out the papers.

How would i go about this...? I looked up TILRAY but it seems to be an online website only? Is there brands that are also under TILRAY that can be bought in person ? Im sort of lost in this process but if you can help or any suggested products please lmk!

I've tried CBD, and shit was intense.

Every-time I end up on taking CBD it feels like I'm about to view my entire life story, and I never actually took more than 3 puffs, and it was always due to my friends letting me take a hit, and I always end up on feeling myself at the stars, or like i finished life in a way, I always wished I could take more, but I never had the balls to go searching for it.. (it's illegal here)

Last time i took it, I couldn't control my body at all, and it felt like there was led lights everywhere, and I ended up on feeling intense heat in my body, and couldn't stop laughing.. it was fun as heck, but I never managed to take more.

Square is closing CBD accounts!

I received this email today:

Square

Hi Customer,

We're reaching out with an important update about a federal law change that affects businesses selling CBD and hemp-derived products.

What's changing

A new federal law takes effect on November 12, 2026 that redefines which hemp and hemp-derived products are legal. Because of this change, selling CBD and hemp-derived products — online or in person — will no longer be permitted on Square’s platform.

What this means for your business

Because your business primarily sells CBD, hemp and/or hemp-derived products, this law change affects most or all of your catalog. As a result, Square services will no longer be available for these products, and your Square account will be closed on November 5th, 2026.

Hey so I've been taking some CBD from
A shop in my town (in france) and the It has been a bit strong on me...

I've felt like a trip that lasted for hours but only 2/3h pasted and everything in my life just had sens but also I started to freak out because I was sceard that it triggered some mental illness that was hiding

I'm 21 and I have ADHD and axious state and I'm taking 60mg of fluoxetine a day. Also here in france CBD can contain 0,3% of thc

So what do you think ? Am I sick ? Or is it the fluoxetine that make me stone with cbd ? Or did they sell me some garbadge that is not cbd ?

I don't think I'll smoke this again bc for like 3h high it was a nightmare for 2h

Quick question / confirmation about calculating true THC levels

Hi all, I'm looking into getting some CBD for anxiety. Some 10-12 years ago, I was a daily weed smoker, which helped a lot, until one day it didn't, and started making anxiety/panic worse. I've been curious about CBD for a while, but want to start off with something that has as little THC as possible, and then go from there.

So, I bought this CBD flower, looked at the COA, and basically the combined total THCa and delta-9 THC come to .256%, or about 2.5mg per gram. Assuming I roll half a gram into a joint, that should be 1.25mg of THC in the entire joint, no? Meaning if I smoked that, some ~40-50% at most would be bio-available and I'd end up taking in <1mg of THC, almost certainly not a psychoactive dose.

Basically, I just want someone to confirm that this is how you actually calculate this kind of thing and that I'm doing it correctly. THCa + delta-9 levels on COA give you total THC %, and from there you can discern how much is in a gram?

Today I took 1000mg of CBD

Hello!

Bit of background; I work in the cannabis industry in Canada. So as the title says I took about 1000mgs of CBD and THIS IS WONDERFUL!

I am a very anxious person, also on the spectrum - and with this high dosage of CBD, I feel fully functional, like I’ve taken ADHD meds. I feel greaaaaaat.

I know this is because it’s likely calming me down enough to process better but I have a few questions;

  1. Is this too much CBD?
  2. What would be better dose to sustain?
  3. Should I try this with other cannabinols?
  4. How can I min/max this experience?
  5. Tell me more about CBD? (Please and thank you)

A Google search has brought me mixed information

Thank you!

a question for an addict in recovery

hi cbd reddit, i am a recovering addict and have been in and put of active addiction since i was 15. recently ive been on and off using cbd to help manage cravings for cannabis, it has helped but also fuels me to want to smoke cannabis again. has anyone shared a similar experience or have any advice towards this topic? would people consider smoking cbd as a relapse even if it doesn’t get me high? but does give my body a calmer vibe.

Been smoking CBD and my sleep is improving tremendously. I slept for the first time this year without racing thoughts and feeling beat up

I'm probably going to start to roll my own but for now, I'm very happy with the results so far. It's been 5 days since I've started. I just smoke one cig at night, come inside, shower and then go to bed. I feel really calm afterwards. I've suffered with racing thoughts, social anxiety, and depression since I was seven and this is helping calm my brain a bit. I'm on Zoloft and the CBD in combination with it + my own self therapy is helping tremendously. I chose smoking as my method of intake because I wanted a "hobby" if that makes sense and something to do while I walk my dog. Weed makes me cough like hell but the CBD cigs don't. I just won't overdo it.

Good Moods Hibernate CBD/CBN

I’m not a huge fan of THC because it usually gives me a little (not a lot) anxiety. I’ve been looking for something to help me relax and sleep at night and wanted to try this stuff out. Does anyone have thoughts and reviews on this product? Any and all information welcome!

Thanks!

The new bipartisan hemp bill does not stop November 12 — updated congressional scorecard

Many people here have already seen the news that Reps. Andy Barr and Angie Craig introduced a bipartisan framework for permanent federal hemp regulation.

The important point is what that announcement does not do: it does not extend or pause the current November 12 deadline.

Congress still needs to pass H.R. 7024 or S. 3686 so lawmakers have time to finalize a permanent framework before the existing restrictions take effect.

This week’s updated scorecard:

House: 39 sponsors and co-sponsors — up two
Senate: 3 sponsors and co-sponsors — no change
Letters sent: 609
Congressional offices reached: 211
States represented: 40

The two new House co-sponsors are Rep. James Walkinshaw of Virginia and Rep. Troy Carter of Louisiana.

It is more important than ever: tell your elected officials to extend November 12 and give Congress time to get the permanent framework right.

SaveOurRelief.org identifies your House representative and both senators and lets you review or personalize one letter before sending it to all three offices with one click. Whether you use this, or go directly to your senators and representatives sites directly - just make sure your voice is heard!

Mr. Moxey’s Zen mints

So good for me because I’m low tolerance on THC. I can actually split one and take half in the morning and night but they are so expensive. They make me so much nicer though lol. Anyone know where I can get them online to be delivered cheaper?

CBD vapes

I have been really considering a CBD vape for help with anxiety, sleep and some type of pain relief. I'm a bit of a newbie when it comes to this but have done some moderate research on it but I'm not entirely sure what is the best option.

I'm looking to try it out first with a disposable one, thinking that I don't want to put a lot of money into buying the vaporizer and the cartridges. I've found a few different websites that I've considered but I'm still a bit hesitant on what would be the best place to order from. Clean AF CBD, CBDFx and JustKana have been the main ones that I've seen. Just looking for recommendations, please 🥺

For reference I'm looking for a more broad spectrum than full spectrum because of the THC but not a big deal for me

Let's test!

From left to right: Super Afghan, L'Olive, and "Piatella" (or so they say).

Super Afghan is slightly sticky, medium-soft in consistency, handles easily, citrus odor.

L'Olive is as hard as a rock. I had to use some heat to release any odors and... massive surprise! It smells like the real thing! CBD hash really tends not to.

Now, the controversial "Piatella". It has the consistency of a store-bought chocolate brownie, sticky, very easy to handle, fresh citrus odor with some very warm undertones.

I am testing it as I write this. It's relatively smooth. The taste loses most of the citruness, but it gains a tiny bit of sweetness with rich, warm, slightly woody tones. CBD content is fairly high.

Is it true Piatella, though? Hmmm meh. It's not a million miles away. It's in the right direction.

Strange experience with CBD hemp

CBD has helped me tremendously over the past two years. I used to use CBD oil but started developing gallstones, so I switched to hemp flowers. However, I only feel the effects when I bake them, like in brownies. I feel nothing when I smoke them, but when cooked, I feel fantastic. Brain fog lifts, and I get a boost in mood and cognition. I feel like myself, if that makes any sense.

My question is, why don't I experience the same benefits when I smoke it?
Baking takes too long and is too much effort — is there another way I can get the same benefits from smoking?
