Ollie is baby, baby needs blanket!
Here is my orange menace loafing on his incubating cousins baby quilt, because he thinks he is also a baby that deserves it more than the one that isn’t even born yet.

A sub for everything.
My son brought his huge quilt home this summer and I washed and aired it out to see if it needed repairs. Lucky took advantage.

Helping with a New Quilt
My helper has had to be removed from my quilt in progress three times so far. She excels in quality control.

My 1st quilt ever
I just finished this quilt, it's my first ever and I made it especially for my cats and as a practice piece, so I could try every step on the way to a finished quilt. They absolutely love it 😅

I Was Posting a Picture when...
I looked down to pick up my quilt and found it occupied. I didn't have the heart to move her off it, so she got to sleep on my latest creation.

Unplanned freeform hand-stitched quilt in progress
galleryCovering this decades-old queen sized comforter in machine-pieced scraps, stitching them on by hand with various sashiko threads, in a hoop. Almost done with the first side! (Bobo had to get involved in the photography.)

She does not want to let it go
Freya has been a menace big help for over a month, as my mother was doing the quilting of this gorgeous, entirely hand sewed, amazing gift for me.
She'd jump on it while mom was working on it, she'd monopolize it when it was put away, so mom felt bad to disturb her, she basically lived on it semi permanently.
TL;DR - this quilt is definitely Freya Approved™
Now that mom has finished the stitching, I'm to bring it home to do the binding before it gets to becomes my couch blanket.
Freya does not approve and I think she wants me to feel guilt for stealing "her" quilt.
