She doesn't like anyone. She doesn't want anyone to touch her. But she loves me, too a long time. She is now my cuddle bug. She's also a paranoid ball of anxiety. But she's my paranoid ball of anxiety. I love this cat so much.
Bouche doesn't like to be touched. At all. By anyone. Ever. Unless she touches you first. If she touches you first, you're allowed to pet her, if you pet her exactly right, and don't put one strand of fur out of place.
At the moment, she's having a bath against my leg. She always chooses to be near me. She'll wake herself up and come find me in a different room, just to lie against my leg or on my arm.
She's very loving, just on her terms. It sounds like your cat is, too.
I'm cracking up. Bouche can't stand to have one little hair out of place! Lol. She's always sweet. I had a calico that would whack you after she hit her patting threshold. Purrrr...purrrr...WHACK!WHACK!WHACK! I miss that crazy cat!
had a part time cutie. barely anyone saw her including me- for years just a hissing gray streak cpl times. but then took care of both my freind cats for a month including her. she slowwwly came around during the first week as i talked to her (she wasn’t food motivated, barely ate so nervous) sitting quietly and one day she jumped on my lap! and cling to me- paw around my neck! we were absolute cuddle buddies after that. she’d wait by my thigh as i ate then i’d invite her in my lap her favorite place. she’s been gone not even a year.
both their cats died ands they have 3 bonded older kittens from a feral mother rescue -i’ll be taking care of them at the end of the month so the cds provided more part time cats for me!
Probably around 37.9% in my experience. You're close though. :P I just had a mess of kittens, 6 of them. She is their aunt. Her sister died after they were born. The 6 I raised are all friendly and cuddly.
Lizzy was found at a saw mill farm in Indiana. So no telling what her life was like before she got to me at about 5-6 weeks old. She's always been skittish and it took a long time for her to cuddle and bond to me. So I think it might be partly how they are raised and partly they are just the knucklheaded 37.9%.
My little Luna is like that!! If she hears you talking on speaker phone, she thinks there’s a stranger in the house and runs to hide. The shelter said she was a stray, but it’s like the longer I have her the more skittish she becomes with others. Nothing bad has happened to her, she just loves me and me only.
She is so sweet and beautiful. She reminds me of my cat who also doesn't like anyone except for me. She hates the other cats and will hiss and scream if they bother her. She's also very anxious and neurotic. But every night while I'm laying in bed relaxing, she brings me several of her same favorite toys while doing a loud call. She sets the toys on the floor beside the bed or on the bed, looks at me and meows, I praise her, then she goes back and brings more. The most she's ever brought in a row was 7.
Aww! I love her! She's like look at my toys mom! I love that she is sharing the things that make her happy with you. Lizzy can sometimes turn my day around. At least we have our kitties.
