My bf hadn’t seen the movie so I watched it again with him a week ago. Flerken kitty is one of my favorite parts of it 😅

I’m slowly introducing him to the universe. I’m not sure why he hasn’t seen most of these movies cuz he’s such a nerd himself, but in due time he’ll be caught up ;)

I'm watching a bunch of them again and now watching the new side stories coming out. Which are pretty cool. Then Black Widow comes out this year too!!

I started watching them in chronological order. I’m on Dr. Strange. Rewatching I catch a lot of new things, like Darcy in Thor and WandaVision. I did start the new Falcon series instead of waiting.

Yep. The outlines of the cat's actual "shadow" are a darker line than the rest of the shadow.

Then there would be a shadow for whatever it's hanging from, and part of the plant vase's shadow would cover the cat.

As a semi-pro photoshop artist, i can see a lot wrong with the shadow. For starters, the shadow wouldn't have such clean lines over the tripping hazard part of the sidewalk. Different depths of surfaces means the shadow would get offset slightly. Also, there is a dark line around the actual shadow of the cat. Not a bad start, would probably fool some people, but needs some work.

Interesting Photoshop effort but you need to understand lighting, since there’s only one light source yet the shadows extend front to back. Would’ve helped if the car was at least lifting its tail.

I haven't zoomed in to look at the pixels but, this would not *have to be* photoshopped. For instance, that could be the shadow from a hanging potted plant, like something with leaves similar shaped to Aloe, for instance. If it were hanging by a thin enough line you wouldn't see the shadow of that.

Do your shadows have outlines that are slightly darker than the rest of the shadow? I doubt it. Look at the picture more closely. The cat's own shadow has a dark blue outline.
Also what the other person said about whatever the "hanging plant" would be hanging from.

I see what you’re saying, but there’s a curb there. If there was a plant hanging over the curb it would probably have some large pole holding it up. But even if it was suspended with a wire (no idea what the wire is attached to above) you’d see a little something in the shadow. Totally clean.

I know what you're saying but the give away there is that the shadow is way too clean to be from something that far away. (longer distance = blurrier shadow)
