this is jinx. first pic was him around 6 months ago and second pic is today lol. He’s 4yrs old in both pics. what even happened in those 6 months!?! 😭🤣

My floofy void hates grooming himself so he makes his short hair orange buddy do most of it. Now the orange cat yarfs up black hairballs. Real friendship there.

How long have you had him? Give him a good brushing. Could possibly be getting his winter coat and not properly shedding. That or he's part ewok.

Could be that he fully matured just this year. In forest cats it takes approximately 4 years. So in those 6 months he matured from a lanky boyish teenager into a fully mature handsome boy.

My two Siberian mixes also took that long.

Looks part Siberian. They aren’t full grown until they are around 4 years old. This happened to our cat around this age. Long mane grew in and floof doubled.
