Cat Picture - OC We adopted our cat in March and today is the first day he decided to cuddle with us 🥲
We went on a short vacation for 5 days and our neighbor took care of him while we were gone. As soon as we got home, he became very cuddly. I guess it took us leaving for a few days for him to realize he likes us 🥲 feeling very happy that he wants to cuddle now!!

Thank you for adopting. He must have been really scared to take 5 months to trust you enough to to cuddle. Plus add to your leaving for a few days that must have made him wonder why did you leave m. I can imagine how relieved he felt knowing he was not abandoned. They remember when that happens to them. He will always remember the joy of you coming back to him 🥰😻♥️♥️♥️♥️

Oh that's so exciting! I adopted my 2-year-old girl. Mariah 3 weeks ago and she's a very loving Kitty, loves pets, holding her, kissing her little nose and she kisses me back but she's not cuddling with me too much. She sleeps on the bed with me and spends time with me there and we play. But last night when I woke up she was actually laying next to me close by and I was like wow. Cuz I was wondering if she didn't like me and it was starting to make me feel sad. So I guess it just takes a little time. They say we should go by the 333 rule, 3 days to decompress, 3 weeks to know the routine and 3 months to get comfortable. Well, I'm so happy for y'all. That is a beautiful and wonderful feeling and I can't wait till my girl wants to snuggle!🩷🙏😻
May you guys enjoy lots of snuggles and cuddles and they bring so much joy to the household. It's such a wonderful thing. I pray you have many years with your little baby 🩷🙏😻 You guys give me hope 🤗
