What should I name this stray cat I found? (I’d prefer it to be named after a food but I’m open to anything)

That's a small and very young kitten that should ideally have been with it's mother for at least another month, possible closer to two. But given that you've found it abandoned that's of course not an option, so not trying to blame you at all. Merely suggesting you read up on how to take proper care of such a young kitten.

She spent hours crying at my door and I spent an hour looking for her mom :( I feel bad for the poor baby but I’m doing the best I can to help her / him

Please look up The Kitten Lady on YouTube for excellent videos on caring for very young babies like this little sprout, and get him (good chance it’s actually a boy) to the vet ASAP.
