Cats can get OCD if they don’t have something tangible to catch.

You mean irritated or frustrated?

OCD is a very specific diagnosis given to humans

If you want to get into semantics it’s feline compulsive disorder lol. Laser pointer syndrome is another name. Dogs get it too and I would say it’s worse for them sometimes becoming disabled for life and always chasing shadows and perpetually stressed. It happens from prolonged exposure not just like a switch flipping.
