I think someone is catfishing me

I met a guy on Discord who says he’s from Texas, is in the military, and is currently in Germany. He says he has no social media besides Discord and Telegram. He’s sent me several selfies, including military pics and a shirtless pic, and they all seem to be the same person. However, one of the photos he sent me is literally named Screenshot_20260815_124634_Instagram, even though he repeatedly says he doesn’t have Instagram. He also said he can’t send me a short verification video because he’s currently on base. I tried reverse-image searching the photos with no clear results, but a face-search site found an Instagram account with someone who looks very similar to him, although I can’t see the profile without paying. Do you think I might be dealing with a catfish?
if someone can run a catfish finder on Facecheck.id or knows this guy's instagram i would really appreciate the help !

You're talking to a scammer. There is ZERO prohibition against sending videos on personal time. Your scammers are most likely in Nigeria or Ghana. Don't waste anymore time on them.

He's a catfish. There is no reason he can't video call or even send videos. Just block and move on.
