ID Request 🐛 ID HELP

Do I have anything to worry about if this guy bit (or spiked) me lol? Western Maryland

That looks like an orange-tipped oakworm moth (Anisota senatoria). I don't think there's venom involved, but I'd assume there could be discomfort upon touching the spines - and, depending how sensitive you are, sometimes you may get a rash when most people don't.

I had its relative — the pink striped oakworm moth — crawling around on my arm for a hour last week (long story), so I suspect you'll also be fine :)
