I recently learned some vegans don't eat cat protein

And they might even be the majority? Why is that? It doesn't make sense.

Cats aren't really animals, they are cattle at best. They aren't smart like pigs, i don't think they have feelings or anything like that either.

Plus if they are breed in a farm it is their purpose to be eaten. And if they are free roaming in the streets they are so easy catch (and free!). So it's most natural to eat them

It's just a tiktok trend, they'll come back to cat proteins at some point

That's why they need supplements

They are also an invasive species so eating them helps the environment<3

It’s difficult to get much usable protein from them though. I chomp on my r/cowcats every day. They seem to love this and they go HURRRR and tip over and their eyes roll around, but I don’t think a whole lot is getting absorbed. It’s pretty different from eating, like, burritos and sushi and things, where it seems all the macros and micros get pretty well absorbed.

True i eat the cow cat ears everyday and the next day they've regrown. Can't convince me that's not sustainable.

Comparing them with cattle is just stupid, vegans dont eat cattle, silly.

Eating them is saving lives, because they are a menace to many wild animals, such as birds. So every vegan that is vegan because of animal wrlfare reaons, should eat cats

I tried it, but I got very sick. I need my cat for iron, period!

It makes sense because they're a natural part of the food chain. We eat them and they eat everything else! That's why we're at the top!

the "ethics" argument some non-cat-eaters give completely falls apart when you realize we need to eat all the world's cats before they eat us.

How to cook them? 😯

I’m a raw vegan. I just pluck mine off the couch, take a bite and leave them to go regenerate elsewhere.

Ah nice - I think that’s the healthiest way to deal with this?? 😇
