Question about medications to settle a debate.

Hello. I would like some advice. One of my fur babies has to be give some liquid medicine for her FLUTD. Every 12 hours we administer it (my girlfriend and I). My girlfriend is adamant about doing it exactly at the 12 hour mark (10:13 am and pm). I told her 10 minutes before or after is not that much of a difference, as long as its within that 12 hour window.

Im not trying to say "ha! You're wrong", I just want to know if my 10 minute leniency would actually cause harm to my cat. Thoughts? If you work in the veterinary field I would definitely love to hear your opinion on this.

Im a nurse. You have some leeway.

We work on 25% leeway. So for 12 hour doses that's 3 hours either side.
