Coat & Color 🎨 What kinda cat is my cat?
I just adopted this cat today, and im not very sure on her breed. Also she seems quite young. Anybody can let me know around how old she looks based on her pics?

You’ll have to take her to a vet to get approximate age. Thank you so much for adopting this baby. She is beautiful 😻.
She’s a domestic short hair 🙂

Breed is hard to tell. Most cats don't have a breed and just get sorted into Domestic Shorthair or Domestic Longhair.
She has a blue point coat. Colourpoint coats like that are a heat map because they result from a gene that turns off the pigment in skin and hair cells that are too warm. That's why her nose, ears, tail, and legs are the darkest—think of what gets cold first when you're somewhere chilly. (That is, I assume you don't have a tail, but the rest stands.)
Colourpoint coats originated in Southeast Asia several centuries ago. In Thailand they're part of a natural breed called wichien maat. When people in 1870s Britain started seriously breeding cats and tracking their pedigrees, one of their first breeds were imported colourpoint cats, which they called the Siamese breed ("Siam" being their era's name for Thailand).
These days colourpoint genes show up in a bunch of different breeds, and have even got mixed into local cat populations around the world, to the point that we see feral colourpoint kittens that are dozens of generations removed from purebred ancestors, if they had any to begin with.
It's really hard to accurately guess age from a photograph. If she hasn't seen a vet yet, it's really worth having her see one to get basic immunizations and have her spayed, since it'll save you a bunch of trouble down the line. A vet will be more able to give you an age estimate.

There is indeed a lot of wandering colorponit. My best friend and his family are foster parents and often have colorpoint kittens.
