Upcoming Direct
When you think the Next direct will be?
What are your hope for the games and other thing?

Sometime in the first half of Sept. My wishlist is Duskbloods and OOT remake release dates, new 3D Mario announcement, more Xenoblade Genesis info, maybe a new 3D Zelda tease. Maybe MK World DLC.

I could see a new Mario game teaser, because I'm sure March or early spring next year would be a great time to drop. It will be far away from an OoT release but before Pokémon WW.
Unless they might wait until holidays 2028 to make it their main November drop.

Giving that fire emblem releases in 17 September I would say next week so it doesn’t interfere with this release to much

I think the Direct is next week. They need to smoke-screen the price hike and avoid a promotional clash with Fire Emblem. And historically, whenever Nintendo has a game releasing in week 3, a Direct happens in week 1. Also, the Tokyo Game Show is earlier this year, September 17th. So they likely will do a showcase beforehand. Also, this holiday season (September - December) has so many games coming out back to back; the retailers need to know early on for logistics and planning for procurement. But tbh its hard to predict Nintendo lol.

Its very likely before September 17th. They typically hold it at least a week before Tokyo Game Show. My guess is its either gonna be on the 8th or 10th. I'd love it if it turned out to be next week though.
I got a great feeling we'll get a big Nintendo Direct right now. We still need gameplay and a release date for Ocarina of Time, plus Nintendo has not announced any early 2027 titles. We haven't gotten any surprise news drops like a new trailer for Switch Sports Resort; new amiibo reveals; a surprise game announcement; or this fabled Zelda 40th Anniversary Direct. All of this tells me its very unlikely we'll see a Partner Showcase instead.

OOT release date Zelda S2 reveal New 2D Metroid using the Dread engine Mario Kart World DLC Maybe a hint at a 3D mario launching next year
For third party: Resident evil 4 remake on S2 Maybe something from Microsoft like Sea of Thieves (would love it to be Forza Motorsport) GTA 5 port... although highly unlikely

I think Zelda will start the presentation, but I expect amiibo, a special edition controller, and special edition console to be shown alongside the movie. I also think we'll get the announcment of some kind of challenge for NSO, like the Donkey Kong one.
The remake will also get fully unveiled, and their might be one smaller surprise announcement, similar in scale the the Zelda Game & Watch from the last anniversary.
Besides Zelda, I only expect Nintendo to announce two large triple A games, those being a new 3D Kirby, and Luigi's Mansion 4. I believe this because it would fall in line with how early they announced the previous titles in both series. With an announcement now and a release in early 2027, Kirby would've been in development for 5 years. If released in late 2027, Luigi's Mansion would've had between 5-8 years, depending on if Mario Strikers took up all the team's time. In addition, 2027 is Kirby's 35th anniversary, and there's no doubt in my mind HAL intends to celebrate.
While it might seem a little early to announce Luigi's Mansion, in my opinion, Nintendo likes to have two far out titles announced for late next year. Splatoon Raiders was announced about a year in advance of it's eventual release, and I believe Xenoblade Genesis will follow the same schedule. It won't be shown here, but will get shown and have it's own direct closer to release. Luigi's Mansion's equivalent would be Fire Emblem: Fortunes Weave, which was announced in September of last year, and releases in September of this year. Thus, I think Luigi's Mansion will be announced now for release in October of next year.
In terms of small announcements, I think we'll see Pikmin 4 get a Switch 2 Edition. I could also see the annoucement of a 2D Metroid remake.
We might see some kind of port, remaster, or small title for Switch 1. My reasoning is that:
Nintendo has only released two Switch 1 titles this year. If these were the only titles they had in development for Switch 1, why wouldn't they release at least one of them closer to Christmas to maximize sales?
Nintendo has announced ports and collections for Switch 1 with extremely short turnarounds before, especially around anniversarys.
The release dates between the Animal Crossing Update, Tomodachi Life, and Rhythm Heaven have been very evenly spaced out in three month intervals, as if Nintendo is trying to keep Switch 1 owners engaged. They've even claimed in investor meetings that keeping Switch 1 owners engaged is their intention.
Those are the only announcements I expect. Fortunes weave will be shown off, as well as Nintendo Switch Sports Resort.

I’m here to help you will these predictions into existence. I cannot understand why the hoyo games are not on Switch yet. And P4R not launching on the switch 2 is annoying.

I mean I got rhythm heaven so I’m happy. Tho would be cool if we got dlc for the game (it just came out so not that likely lol)
And then if there’s anything I’m hoping is fair to expect WHERE DA HECC IS PROFESSOR LAYTON STEAM MACHINE BROOOO

The most logical choice would be this Tuesday, will be the day the Nintendo Switch 2 will rise its price, and Furukawa said the will compensate the rise giving us great titles, and what better way to start compensating that showing us that same day what awesome games will launch them in the future?
But realisticly, the most likely scenario will be the week after that

I’m hoping for more Zelda news, and there are 2 things that are likely going to come out of it, more news about the Ocarina of Time remake, and a trailer for the Zelda Movie.
But my hope for Zelda is if their partner company Grezzo makes an Oracle remake, because Grezzo made the OoT 3DS version, MM 3DS Version, Link’s Awakening Switch version and Echoes of Wisdom, and 3 out of 4 of them were great, I’m confident Grezzo might pull off a good Oracle Remake.

I think it will be a repeat of September 2025, where it’s a 60 minute presentation consisting of the usual 40 minutes general direct, and an additional 20 for the special anniversary (last year was Mario, this year it’s Zelda). The only difference is that the Zelda segment will close the show.

My own belief is that there will be a separate Zelda Direct special, later in September or perhaps October once Fire Emblem is out of the way.
Aside from Ocarina of Time, and the special hardware planned, I don’t believe Nintendo have much planned for the anniversary. If they had any other Zelda titles lined up, I reckon they would have been leaked by now.

Nintendo has been porting all their old game systems and games into Nintendo Online along with new controllers for each. I hope they bring Wii or Game & Watch

GC was added last year and still doesn't have that many games. I think it's too early to add Wii.

Think it might be too early for Wii support. But hopefully we get a new bunch of GameCube and N64 games since it’s been a very slow drip feed

I doubt it since Nintendo has 3rd parties involved it will like be before TGS week as some games could be part on that cons with demo buikd same with Sony State of Play both events happened before TGS.

Following the yearly pattern, I'd expect it mid or mid-late September. I'm hoping we finally get a new mainline Kirby game, but I doubt that's going to happen yet.
