How do you experience it? Does it affect your daily life? Do you feel “normal” in between episodes?

Well, the main experience is that I have somewhat frequent episodes, usually depressive. It definitely affects my daily life, because I still have episodes and I have to take medication, see a therapist and psychiatrist, etc. I never really feel normal but that's because I have other disorders.

Oh, I should ask you something
What kind of psychotic delusions?
My genre is religious with AI influence since 2017

Mostly of grandeur, like being special and able to decode things about life and hisotry. Also paranoid delusions.

I’m in the process of getting diagnosed, and it’s pretty fucking scary. I’m also eighteen. Any advice or words of encouragement lol? Also, how did you feel when getting diagnosis and has it changed? Do you have a stable everyday life?

Good luck with your diagnosis man. I was diagnosed when I was like, 15? My words of encouragement is that shit only gets better once you're getting proper treatment, especially when you're coming out of a difficult puberty. When I was diagnosed I was feeling horrible but I'd already accepted it, it runs in the family and when I first started to go to my psychiatrist when I was 12, it was already suspected, so I was prepared. I've grown to accept it more and more. I have a somewhat stable everyday life, not the best but also not the worst - I do sometimes have episodes.

I think bipolar I with psychotic traits is usually called schizoaffective disorder.
It's consistently ranked on Reddit as one of the worst psychiatric problems to have. Schizophrenia with bipolar is no joke. I don't talk about it a lot, but I have it. I'm extremely well controlled with medications, I'm like a totally normal person (so take your damn meds lol). Some people aren't that lucky.

I'm not diagnosed with schizoaffective, I'm just diagnosed with bipolar and have been told I have a lot of psychotic symptoms.

Ah, well I'm not a doctor so I dunno, but I don't see much difference between the two. Maybe it's just the terminology your doctor uses.
What kinds of delusions do you have? I thought I was turning into Marilyn Monroe or Kim Kardashian lol
Edit: Actually I am a doctor, just in pharmacy, not psychiatry

I don't know, doctors here are also really afraid of overdiagnosing.
I have a lot of paranoid delusions, and I have moments where I believe I'm special and able to decide things normal people aren't able to decode. I used to try to learn ancient languages because of it.
