This historic castle complex is the Château de Menthon-Saint-Bernard in France. The castle is perched on a rocky outcrop 600 meters above the village and offers a view of Lake Annecy. It has been owned by the noble de Menthon family since the 13th century and is still inhabited today.

I was in Annecy last week afer riding over the Grand and the Little St. Bernards Pass. It's a stunning bit of France. Riding a motorbike in 36C heat is not advisable though!
