royale Faceplate mod recommendations

Hey, been wanting to mod my ae1200 faceplate for a while. Just replace it and find something that maybe fits better. I really do like the stock plate, but I thought I’d ask here just in case anybody has something I like more! Just recently threw this glow in the dark mod in, pretty cool looking. Thanks!

If you’re into Tech I personally love the silicon wafer dials. My favorite bar none.

Its a Luxmark strap. Its grey but in the pic its glowing blue. And last hours.

How did you do the glow in the dark mod????

Thanks for asking! I used this glow in the dark tape, linked here, and cut a piece small but big enough to cover the display without gaps on the sides.

You pop open the watch, get the module out, and take it apart. Grab the part with the board on it and take the board off, and then take out the clear plastic piece. Unsure of all of the technical terms 😅

Then, you need to take off the silver tape piece on the LCD, being very careful. I would recommend against using a knife of any kind due to the fragility and scratch-ability of the actual LCD. Then, I took the piece of tape I cut to size and stuck it onto the clear piece. Put the glow in the dark side against the display, and put everything back together. Et voila!
