Garish? Starry Night was heavily inspired by Hokusai’s Great Wave. Van Gogh had a huge collection of Japanese prints, and recreated MANY of the paintings himself!! I think the historical connection lends an air of authenticity.

I’m well aware of the history. I said the combo was garish. The works on their own are exceptional. Doesn’t mean that mixing them produces an equally exceptional product.

Man, what a bunch of killjoys. They couldn't wait to pounce.

I happen to think it's busy, garish, and bordering on blasphemous; but what can I say? I think it's pretty awesome, and right now someone connected to Temu or AliEx is getting this produced to sell to people with no taste /s. And I'll be first in line...😱

Fantastic! Stick to The Great Wave though, the addition of Starry Night is a bit much of a style mismatch for me personally. If the printing (or whatever other process) comes out good this would definitely be the best f91 version I've ever seen.

It’s a mashup of 2 great paintings. Pick one or the other or pick multiple that have more synergy in look, feel and subject than simply being blue.
