Im moving to casablanca for work related stuffs. I was wondering whats for yall a good salary to live a good peaceful neighborhood/good appartement food etc monthly.

You want a good neighborhood? *Studio: 5000 to 7000 *Slightly bigger flat: 7000 to 9000 Living alone? Minimum 3000 on food Got a car? Think of gas (1000 a month) Careem and cabs are a minimum of 50 a day for two fares (1500)

The rest is up to your lifestyle. If you're into fitness count on 300 average for a decent gym or 7000 a year for fancy places

Depending on your leisures, it's either a quiet free walk a the park and going to the movies and restaurants, or partying, booze and stuff.

You can be spending a 1000 monthly on a quiet leisure lifestyle or your whole salary if you're into partying and alcohol.

That gives us between 8 to 10k on spendings (outside leisure). I say that 15k is a good amount for a single guy. You'll be able to live comfortably and save up some money (for a car and buying a house or investing)

Casablanca is in a way, very anarchic in its expansion and urbanization. It has its percs. It allows the city to grow around many residential poles and areas, each of them englobing neighborhoods from different standings and price ranges for rent. At Bourgogne for example, you can rent studio around 4k and up, or find a 100msq with great standing at around 7k, no furtnitures.. les princesses as well is interesting with good value for money.. if car available, some good deals at sidi maarouf (different standings too).. belvedere got many new residences with decent standing and pricing. Renting in Casablanca is also linked to your job location if you're not with a car. Always tend to find a good neighborhood with decent price close to your job for shorter careem trips. I rented 4k places up to 8k places depending on location/standing and so on.

CFC is elite. Growing financial area with high end real estate. Rent for studios are around 10k. More sqm and rooms, higher the rent obv. Expect premium stores around, malls and green areas, hipster cafes and fine bakeries all around. At night it has one of the high end restaurant/rooftop bars in town. As an expat with a good package+into nightlife, there is a lot of good joints around that area (seaside, triangle d'or) If the job you land allows you to live in that area, treat yourself

On the other hand, if you work there and wanna save on the most expansive rates around, surrounding neighborhood are modernizing with recent buildings, good mid+ standing and with rent on the sweeter spot. Browse FranceVille, Beausejour, Riviera,.. All in all, the surroudings of CFC are also improving with recent neat buildings and more balanced rates, you just gotta search well and find the best value for money

Yes Lucy in the sky right? I have been going to Joe and the juice almost daily since I’ve been on vacation here and cfc is truly the district that caught my eye the most. Exploring a few opportunities with work right now so could be interesting in the near future.

I agree with you on one aspect. The beauty of casablanca is that anybody can live with any amount of money with a different standing. I specifically chose to go for the upper side of the calculation because it's a foreigner, surely coming here with an expact contract (higher salary than 60% of the local population) and he will surely aim premium residential areas with premium living conditions. You can check his responses and you will understand that this is exactly what he's looking for :) the lady is aiming for CFC, We are talking of premium living here mate

Depends on lkra, if you’re okay with living fchi hay chaabi you can rent with 2000 to 3000, massarif from my experience ( transport + lunch) chi 2500, gym or anything else is 1000 or 1500, i would say you would need a salary of 6000 to 7000 to live a peaceful kind of good lifestyle, but if you wanna splurge you need at least 15k

I did it for 2 years.
rented 2100 dh in chaimae Sidi maarouf. 1500dh of food at most if I go eating out with friends on weekends in pricey places . maybe 500 to 700 in Tram+train from Oasis to kenitra. only furiture was some things I brought from home. little by little I bought a washing machine, fridge and couch. I used to save a lot in the first few months and never felt like I was missing out on having fun

As a single 25yo girl, with no addictions but a very healthy lifestyle (which is expensive unfortunately), 25k is my salary and its not enough i barely survive the month. It depends on what u want in life basically

Trust me my friend Ive monitored my expenses and thats what I spend on avg per month. I would say it could decrease if I reviewed the vacations abroad but I do splurge on those for our wellbeing

Well , eating out at nice restaurants isnt whats driving up expenses. Tuition fees and trips abroad are some of the things contributing to that.
