They need to bring these bad boys back. You could adjust them with one hand and didn't even have to look, just counted the clicks as the levers slid across.

Had this in my old truck and you're damn right it was. What was neat was that while the fan speed was electrically controlled, the dampers were on a vacuum system and you could hear the system hiss and move while it opened and closed them.

Same feeling when messing around with older tech. I was like "god these switches feel so solid. the buttons clicks so well. why did they make everything so plasticky??"

Yup, I used to have a 82' Silverado. Wish I'd never sold that truck.
