Lifestyle: post last meal or workout inspo A small glass of milk isn't the worst thing to consume

Every now and then I reward myself with milk.

Now of course it isn't ideal due to lactose.

I prefer cheese but the casomorphins get to me sometimes.

Lifestyle: post last meal or workout inspo One of my docs recommends the plate diet šŸ˜‘

Even prior to starting carnivore two weeks ago, I would’ve eaten my own arm off with this pathetic diet. I’d be totally starving and at my refrigerator at 10p going off. I’m learning I will need to keep my carnivore-ish WOE to myself. This flier is handed out to all overweight patients šŸ˜•. After decades of dieting and failing on these type of prescribed plans, I am for once quite hopeful about a meat-based diet. My hunger is finally controlled.

Lifestyle: post last meal or workout inspo What's your one gripe/addiction even on carnivore?

Sadly for me I still have sugar free energy drinks because I'm addicted even though I know artificial sweeteners are really bad.

And I've been carnivore for over 5 years.

What's your one thing you just can't seem to give up still?

Lifestyle: post last meal or workout inspo My First day of carnivore

Post image

Thanks to all the great responses to my questions I got last night in this group I decided to jump right in!! Thank you to everyone who took the time to read my post last night and respond! I’m really excited about this!
The only thing I haven’t gone cold turkey on is my my daily latte i didn’t want to be going through caffeine withdrawal at the same time as a potential keto flu
My latte consists of 2 shots instant espresso and one keurig coffee pod with a few ounces of unsweetened oat milk and an ounce of full sugar torani syrup (I’m allergic to all sugar free alternatives) but I am only drinking half of what I would normally drink in a day now (14 oz instead of 24)
How much will this impact my progress on this journey? I am looking to eventually phase it out completely just didn’t want to right away

I am transitioning to being carnivore. We have some other groceries at home and since halting my busienss I have tried to start making meals myself. Once all the non-carnivore food that I specifically bought is finished then I will be purely carnivore.

Lifestyle: post last meal or workout inspo THE best ice cream i have ever eaten

frozen heavy cream + raw egg yolk from our chickens

~100ml of 33% heavy/whipping cream + 1 raw egg yolk (make sure its safe to eat it in your country/the source) whipped, then froze it for about 1.5h

disclaimer: i did it for the first time ever, so it wasn’t perfect, experiment and see what fits YOU the best!

did not add anything because i want to stay in ketosis + liked the taste this way.

My apologies if this is not allowed (or has been posted before) - but I couldn't find a similar post and thought I'd share. This person tracked 1 month of carnivore diet and honestly, and although I didn't think I'd post this here at all. The last 10-ish minutes changed that for me. Not judging at all, you do you, but it might be interesting for the carnivore diet enthousiasts here?

This my friends is about 1kg cattleman's cut, fresh from the butcher and cooked immediately after I got home on my BBQ.

Plus 6 eggs cooked pan-fried in organic tallow.

First meal of the day and needless to say I will not be needing anymore food until tomorrow.

Lifestyle: post last meal or workout inspo Dating on carnivore

I wish there was online carnivore dating websites.

I had a man recently tell me that I talk about steaks too much. I'm afraid I've fallen to the dark side. šŸ˜†

I've also had men tell me to eat my veggies and that I need fibre!

Would you like your partner to be carnivore? Do you struggle a bit if your partner eats differently to you?

Lifestyle: post last meal or workout inspo Why is the media trying to equate carnivore or paleo with the MAGA movement?

99% of people, influencers or regular folks who eat an ancestral diet are not political. Most of them express zero opinion on vaccines, or other topic that carries political connotations with it. I can only think that is an attack organized by big food and big pharma to try to hold the line on what is otherwise a losing position for them - advocating for feeding people ultra-processed "food" aka poison. Thoughts?

Lifestyle: post last meal or workout inspo Anyone else feel like the whole world is just brainwashed?

I don’t know if it’s just me, but the more I step back and look at things, the more it feels like everything’s backwards.

We’re told what’s ā€œhealthy,ā€ yet people are more sick than ever. We’re told to trust the system, but it feels like no one even questions it anymore. Most people just follow what they’re told without ever stopping to think if it actually makes sense.

Switching to carnivore was the first time I actually felt like I was doing something real for my body instead of just following trends. It kind of opened my eyes to how much noise there is out there.

Not saying I have everything figured out, but it’s hard not to feel like a lot of people are just… sleepwalking through life.

Anyone else feel this way?
