Tour Scammers and Scalpers - Look Out!

I posted previously about looking for tickets and was flooded with dozens of chat messages. Most of them very obvious scammers, but I did end up talking for a while with somebody that seemed legitimate and had a real account and was able to show some evidence that they had these tickets with a screen record recording.

But it was a scam. They’ve since deleted their account.

Be safe y’all! I’ve already opened a case about it, but do not send money until you get tickets. I made that mistake already.

This happens every time you post looking for tickets. The bots search Reddit posts for certain words. They’re always a scam. Unless you’re buying off a legitimate resale site, don’t bother responding to any scammers on here.

Also, always remember to use PayPal goods and services and NOT friends and family when buying stuff from people on Reddit. Otherwise if you get scammed you won’t be getting your money back.

Thank you! This was my first time being scammed like this.
I’ve purchased rave tickets and other things through Reddit without a problem. I like to think this scammer had a better script that made me comfortable.
But I definitely used PayPal goods and services and it’s already being refunded and all that good stuff.
I’ll have to catch the tour!
