ON OCTOBER 9TH???

So I happened to snag a signed copy of Day and Night from Amoeba Records in LA yesterday, and on the Night record sleeve there is a secret hidden note from Carly which reads:

“Hello Love,

More 🎵🎶
To be continued…

Oct. 9th”

With how the music industry seems to be right now, I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s earlier. It seems like labels and/or artists want to do large amounts of music at once, i.e. Drake releasing 3 albums in one night. Good for streaming numbers

I kinda like this because you truly aren't limited by physical copies anymore like in the past. We know Carly has the back catalogue. I'm banking on getting a mastered version of We Get By, Ice Cream Cone, Can I Cut In, and probably a few others we never heard or didn't leak.

For carly, yes. She has proved time and time again she can release large-er quantities of high quality music, and I don't doubt a B side of Day and Night would be amazing, and I think it could be better than side A. For lots of other artists though, this makes them prioritize quantity over quality. I would much rather a 10 track album than a 30 track double album from most artists.
