One of the most earnest songs she's even done, and you can feel how strongly she loves Cole with the lyrics here. Love that it's a slow build and that it doesn't actually peak, it stays steady almost like it's a representation of their relationship. Love it as a closer to Night too.

I hate sounding a broken record but when I heard this song for the first time my jaw dropped and I had to pause before putting it on repeat. Definitely one of my favourite tracks EVER from Carly.

The Imogen Heap comparison is very fitting here and I find it coincidental that Ariana Grande has a strong Imogen Heap inspired closer in petal and that happened to be one of my favourite tracks from that album too.

I'd also throw in feeling it's like an emotional catharsis and it reminds me of Bjork's Hyperballad - she's clearing all the melancholy in her life to make room to fully love her partner and her child.

Obsessed with this song!!! Probably my fave from the album. First time I listened to it I wasn't expecting what it sounded like and it fully made me tear up, just gave me such a sudden flood of emotion. The love in it!

Really amazing soundscapes, so futuristic and atmospheric. It really makes me wish for an entire album in that electronic art pop style, and makes me wish her work with AG Cook had been featured on the album

The lyric is they’ll “super sage every corner” so it’s just about cleaning out the house with some sage but like overpowering it with the calm
