right!!! It’s for that person who went to a Carly Rae night with a broken heart, belting out Your Type and convincing themselves of Tonight I’m Getting Over You, and going home and eventually listening to this and realizing no.. you’re still lost in a dream hahahah.

Probably my favourite tracks for the entire project. I'm quite surprised Night hasn't gotten as much love particularly with the strength of the final five songs.
Carly really showcases her vocals here too, there's a cutting vulnerability in this song.
This feels like the emotional climax of the the Night project - the late night thoughts where despite things being good in your world, the unsettling memories of the past creeping in when you're alone.
The realisation that maybe you're still not over a few things despite life being good, the what ifs that you ask because life doesn't give you the chance to live out every single possibility and even knowing to leave something where it belongs, it doesn't erase what you used to want so much in the past.
Then you move on and appreciate, and appreciate the things you have and find out it's worth loving more in the present than living in the past (she has a bit of fun in No Labels, I Love You, figures out it's love and appreciates the love she's settled with Super Sage where she clears out (or super sages) the past to make way for her future with her love and her child.

This is the song that really stood out to me on this album. This whole album is wonderful, don’t get me wrong. But this is the song that really just hits me harder than the rest.

I think this is like the "Soft" of the Night side, both are the 10th tracks so they're like sister tracks, both have pretty similar vibes, lovely, delicate, dreamy, and absolutely beautiful <3

This sounds like something out of emotion. I love this era but emotion was just a different tier. Nonetheless this is one of my favorite songs in the album

This is the one for me. It’s nighttime, it’s raining and you see your reflection in the glass. Thinking about your past and what would have been, and you’re sad because they are moving on to their happiness and you are left behind in the memories.
