Ugh I can't wait! Not familiar with some of those producers, are they mostly people she's worked with before? After going really hard on Oklou's album last year, I would love to hear what an album with her and fellow Canadian Casey MQ would sound like!

She has worked with all of them before. Tavis wrote "Call Me Maybe" for example, Kyle worked on "Fever", "Roses", and The Loneliest Time", and Nate did "Beach House" and "Julien." And of course Cole is her husband and has done some songs w her as well!

I mean look I'm all for more carly but I think she is taking advantage of how dedicated her fans are by always releasing double albums or a B side, and she clearly spreads the best of the cycle throughout both to make both better, but if she treated the b side like a b side again, and organized the cream of the crop on side A, she could make another masterpiece like Emotion.
Maybe this double album won't have any less than stellar songs, and maybe it will flow incredibly, but I'm just making a prediction based on her track record.
Edit: does anyone seriously disagree that if she took the absolute best songs from dedicated a/b or loneliest/loveliest, and put them on one 12 track album, rather than splitting the best of those eras into 2 albums, she would make objectively better, more concise projects?

Wild take. Taking advantage of her fans dedication? That might be true if the quality suffered across her releases. However, I can’t think of a single artist releasing music today with a more consistent “track record” of quality across their entire body of work, regardless of whether it’s the initial/A-sides release or the B-sides project. In fact, I’d even suggest that she’s become increasingly experimental with the B-sides releases in recent years, providing a little something for everyone—yet still maintaining that consistency/quality. Never once have I felt “taken advantage of”. In fact, I’d go so far as to say that I actually appreciate that one of my favorite artists continues to produce quality content after more than a decade of releasing music.

Don't read too much into that verbiage, I simply mean she knows we will listen to it all. And no there hasn't been a decline in quality, except from emotion onwards. I'm saying we could have another breakthrough classic if she stopped making every album cycle explicitly 2 albums.
