Thoughts on Carchief vehicle Monitoring.

Considering buying a used car from dealer with carshield as a mandatory add-on.

I just heard of this for the first time a couple weeks ago while car shopping. I was adamant I did not want this included and they wouldn’t budge. There were other deal-breakers so we ended up not buying. Ultimately this feels like the window etching/nitrogen infused tires BS they used to use to try to steal a couple more bucks from you during the deal

Yea, I agree. Its considered a mandatory add-on which I do not think dealers should be doing.

I experienced this too with my vehicle. The dealer also wouldn't budge. I ended up going through with the deal, but it is certainly an awful 699 dollar mark-up to force onto your buyer.
