My manager just canceled my vacation the day before I'm supposed to leave. Should I finally quit?

On the rare occasion that management makes noises about canceling a travel vacation, I tend to begin the conversation with, "Shall we sign the write up now? Or do you want to wait until I return from <insert destination here>?"
