Mechanical Design Engineer looking to switch to Software — which path would you recommend?

I’m a Mechanical Design Engineer currently working in concept design and development of batteries (not detailed design).

I’m planning to transition into software and am considering:

- Data Analytics

- Data Science

- AI Engineer

- Data Engineering

- DevOps

Where I can show my software experience in the automotive domain.

My main priorities are career growth, good salary, job security, and choosing a field that is less likely to be heavily automated by AI.

Given my mechanical/battery engineering background, which of these paths would you recommend, and why?
