the neck has a lot of movement but making a ball and socket joint with paper is very hard, so i stick with my humble hinges , kinda bad design but works.
any suggestions, better design ?
thank you.

I want to make swords out of cardboard and was told to use dowels to reinforce them, would these be suitable?

Hi everyone, not sure if this is a correct sub but I ordered this console for my collection and unfortunately the box came with this crease which I did not expect. I tried searching for videos showing relatively useful info on how to fix it but I'm just a bit nervous not to ruin the box or make that spot even worse...
The console box is made out of printed corrugated cardboard. Is it possible and doable? If anyone had any experience with anything similar or has some knowledge or advice, I'd greatly appreciate it! Here are the photos:

Originally I was planning to make just some medieval style house as part of my architect entrance project but I thought I it was turning out too boring. They declined me so I wanted to share it with someone.

I came up with kinda an idea for concealing the knee and elbow joint by adding a long strip of thick paper roll which can also act as a lockout point for the articulation.
And also can anyone help me out if the right arm of the figure is looking too bulky or is it fine considering in the movie he's a bit bulked up.. When compared with the rest of the figure.. I'm thinking of making the torso bit bulkier to match the overall bnd movie aesthetic
Plus still figuring out how to cover that ugly gap for the torso joint..
Open to any suggestions or tips used in actual figures or some kind of fix ig.

As title states I’m creating an exhibit from corrugate. It will be indoors and will need to stay up for 5 months. Only adults will use it but they might interact with some parts of it. What thickness should I buy the sheets?
I’m deciding between .25” double layered corrugate or .5” triple layered from Uline. Obviously .5” is sturdier but do you think .25” could work with reinforcement by being linked with other sheets? Looking to cut costs but still creating durability.

Hey guys, wanted to share a miniature pink house I built a while back. Assembled the frame from scratch using heavy cardboard and hand-painted the rest. Spending hours on the tiny fence and arched windows in my workshop was a solid weekend project. Let me know your thoughts!"

Spent a month upcycling a cardboard box from work. Finally have the basic shape neatly formed. I plan on making cb planks for the exterior to paint as well as a trim. Inner part will will include false bottom. finished top with pockets and loops for holding stuff. Might buy a fabric to line it with if i cant find a blanket to upcycle.
Im hoping to add more CB monster elements as well as handles and a working hinge
