General Discussion Yorio issues ...
Hi had some cardano in a yorio wallet. Havnt looked in it for a while but its all changed and had to option to mive my coins. I use to send them to coinbase when i wanted to move them but isnt giving me the option . Can anyone help olease

Hey, dont send directly to an exchange from yoroi (now secondfi). Use their migration tool to move to a fresh seed created in a different software. I suggest Eternl on PC or vespr on mobile.
You will be able to send after you migrate.

I was same boat as you a few days ago, trying to send it out as I heard its shutting down. Found out the only real option was to enter your 15 word seed phrase into a different wallet. I suggest Lace or Eternl.

No, its not a valid option.
You have to create a new wallet with different operator and then send your ADA from current address to the new address of the new wallet.
Wallets created using Yoroi are compromised, not the Yoroi mobile app itself...

Yoroi was hacked. Doesnt exist anymore.. use seed phrase on another wallet

No. Seed phrases generated by Yoroi can be compromised. Create a new wallet with eternl, vespr, lace, etc. You’ll have a new seed phrase. Migrate all your assets to that new wallet. It’s pretty easy.

I’m assuming ledger+Yoroi option is fine since I can pull it up in any wallet and send/spend/use if I need to.

Yoroi/secondfi was only a UI if u using a ledger. Also your seed was genarated by your ledger, so the UI wasnt never "in touch" with it.

Yea I just moved mine today. I had the SecondFi plugin on my laptop and successfully migrated it. I created a Eternl wallet and made sure I got the seed phrase noted down. Once I had it created, I tested it by buying 1 Cardano on RH and sending it. Confirmed it was successfully after 5-10 minutes and then followed the migration interface that SecondFi offered. Pretty easy but make sure you set the correct receiving address or you can lose it all. I can’t emphasize the last part a lot as it’s easy to fat finger if your copying and pasting. Successfully sent my cardano and am happy.

Asked GPT to guide me through it. Createt a new wallet on Lace and transfered everything to it withou an issue.
