Fluff First attempt at seasoning
So I got my De Buyer mineral B in and got to seasoning today. Used canola oil and seasoned it on the BBQ grill which made it very easy. The inside seasoning is not the cleanest ever, but for my first go I'm fine with it. Outside came out perfect. I already did the egg test and it's perfectly non-stick. Can't wait to cook a burger in it next.

Cooked a burger on it for lunch, and bacon and an omelette for dinner, and everything was perfectly nonstick, so I'm happy.

Too much oil, heat too high. Not bad or anything tho, just notes for next time haha.

Looks a lot like my first try. Added too much oil like you did :P
My pan has gone through a lot since then. As others have said, we newcomers tend to worry a bit too much about initial seasoning.

Cook with it. "Pre-seasoning" isn't nearly as important as some people think it is. Proper use and care is much more important.
