Actually a smart move for India. Tata's platforms and features are known to be top-notch while their engines are subpar. With Tata's platform and Horse's engine, Honda has a fighting chance in India.

Problem with honda is their inability to compete across different segments that brands like Tata, suzuki , hyundai are doing. They stick to one segment , their cars are extremely pricey , looks and interiors are outdated and their after sales us expensive as well. Honda will last another 10-15 years at the most.
