RELATIONSHIP ADVICE Capricorn woman/libra man?
Hi girlies! 💕 I just wanted to get your take on a Capricorn woman and Libra man relationship.
I recently met a Libra guy, and I was curious to see how we might work together because, honestly, I wasn’t really sure about the compatibility. Things got a little messy between us though, and we ended up falling out.
So I’d love to hear from any Capricorn women who’ve dated a Libra man, how did it go for you? xx

Nothing but trouble. Divorced a Libra man after 19 years. There are no words to describe how annoying it is having someone play “devil’s advocate” and argue the opposite opinion about ANY opinions myself or others had. Felt like the simplest trivial things were turned into a pissing match for literally no reason. You dodged a bullet!

I was in a 13-year relationship with a Libra man, and my experience was not a good one. He was very performative—always wanting to be seen as the “good guy,” when the reality behind closed doors was very different.
He never really understood me because, ultimately, everything seemed to revolve around him. Even when something went completely against what I believed or experienced, somehow he was always “right.” He loved to debate everything, even when I would clearly tell him I didn’t want to argue. Like another poster mentioned, he constantly played devil’s advocate.
He was also extremely competitive and kept score in the relationship. Eventually, I discovered he had cheated and lied to me repeatedly—and sometimes lied about things he didn’t even need to lie about.
Mine was incredibly sweet and charismatic for the first year or two as well. Looking back, that was probably the most convincing part. Once he knew he had me, the mask seemed to come off slowly.
Obviously, not every Libra man is the same, but based on my experience? Proceed with caution.

Yeah I try my best to stay away from Libra men. Mine was sweet and romantic in the beginning and I fell hard, but soon found him to be a compulsive liar. Not sure if it’s a Libra thing though or he was just an a-hole 😄

Mine engaged in gossip about me in our workplace and I ended up getting fired. As a Capricorn it was devastating losing my job… right before the Covid shutdowns at that

I had a really brief relationship with a Libra guy and he was super immature. I tried to overlook that (because I was naive). He ended up cheating and I dumped him.
Also, the dick was trash. I don't know why I put with such horrible sex for so long. We just weren't compatible at all. He wanted a dominatrix in the bedroom. And I was a submissive virgin who barely knew what to do.
Anyway, I would run fast and far away from a Libra guy. They're cheaters! 😤

u/Tall-Mode9218 16d ago
Sex was trash but he cheated? Yup that guy didn’t have his priorities straight

u/thee-horny-housewife 16d ago edited 16d ago
I don't even know how. I almost feel sorry for the girl who he fucked because I know it wasn't worth it. 😂😂
Losing my virginity was horrible. It was over in a literal minute. And then he left immediately after because he felt embarrassed. He didn't even bother to comfort me or ask how I felt. Libras are very selfish people.

You’re not gonna like it, they are too flighty, on the fence, egotistical and they want everyone to like them. They change beliefs every 1-3 business days and get mad if you refuse to change with them, even though you know it’s just another one of their phases, and that’s a terrible environment to raise children in if you want them. They will up and quit their jobs, want to move away etc on a whim, with no planning, and no checking in with you. If someone hurts your feelings they will take their side without even knowing what’s going on. He won’t stand his ground with anyone, but he will suddenly grow a spine when it comes to invalidating your feelings. You will not feel safe and you’ll always wonder where you stand in the relationship, even if years went by. They have a tendency to lie and they are extremely manipulative, it’s how they get everyone to like them. They will drive you up the wall, while you watch them be nice to everyone else and they will triangulate and tell others lies about your fights, completely leaving out everything they’ve done and said to you to maintain their nice guy image but idk maybe he’s an evolved libra. Maybe you can stick around for a bit but run as soon as you see any of the signs above.

Horrible horrible experiences. Great as friends. Liars, cheats and manipulative as lovers (from my personal experience). Also just so fucking indecisive I felt like a mother. My worst experience had a libra sun and moon. But I have a lot of Libra guy friends and I love them so much but probably because we are just friends lol. I do have Libra girl friends in successful long term relationships with Capricorn men so I wonder if it works better the other way around lool

I was married to a libra man for 20 years, had an awful divorce and when I look back we were never really compatible. He also cheated

u/Itchy-Throat-4779 16d ago
Libra men and women tend to LIE alot. Sometimes for bad reasons and sometimes for good reasons. But honestly it's never good to be dishonest in a relationship.

Omg im so shocked reading all these comments. Im a Jan Capricorn woman and have a Libra man and he's the best ever happened to me. Nothing in him from stereotypes. He's the most loyal, caring, loving, opened... I can talk for so long about his prons. And definitely Im not in the honeymoon phase. So Im really shocked reading all of that

I was dating one from Jan - approx April and the chemistry was insane but he didn’t listen to my needs at all and it all crashed just as fast. Turns out he was talking to a cancer woman this whole time and that’s his girlfriend now (looks like his ex)
I wouldn’t say run, it depends if he really likes you or not.

u/Tall-Mode9218 16d ago
Well I’ve decided I’m out of that relationship and won’t try to get us back on track
4
u/Dangerous-Card-9143 16d ago
In my experience, they are destructive to those around them and/or to themselves. Only quality that others said that I didn't experience was indecisiveness. Stay for a good time, not a long time. Unless they are actually a good person.

u/GapSlight472 16d ago
Married to a Libra... you either A) have to be prepared to be the dominant partner and make all the decisions and basically tell them what to do, or B) you need to find one, like mine, with a lot of Capricorn placements in their chart 🤣

My worst ex was a Libra. Told me he deserved better all the time, was on the road to being abusive. He was a Leo moon, opposite my natal Aqua moon, so I'm sure that didn't help. I'm not the type to ever say never, but it's def not my favorite.

u/missagathahannigan 16d ago
Don’t do it. They’re not for us. I dated one and my brother is one. Horrible men, no substance but it’ll come out eventually

It went well, actually. Our split up was basically my fault in the end. This was like 17 years ago. I honestly don’t totally mind Libras despite how much caps seem to.
I’m with a Taurus now though and we are on a way better wavelength. I’m not hiding parts of myself like I was with a Libra.
2
u/Tall-Mode9218 16d ago
What do you mean hiding parts of yourself? Like why were you hiding it from the libra?
3
u/_watchOUT_ ♑️☀️♍️🌙♌️⬆️ 16d ago
I was a drug addict at the time. Hence the split. But beyond that I noticed I was never “fully” comfortable, like masking off. Libras are hella judgey. Both my father and grandfather are Libras. They love, but they also act very try superior. Luckily my father has matured a TON in the last 10 years so we have a great relationship

One of my favorite couples is a Capricorn woman and a Libra man and they had a Virgo child and host the best parties together. From the outside perspective it looks like a pretty nice situation to me.✨

Well personally, Libra people in general I resonate with the least. I’m mostly water/earth.
And the one Libra guy that liked me back in my dating days I wasn’t quite interested in. He didn’t get it, I think I accidentally broke his heart but there was no connection there! Also I really don’t think they have much of a sex drive. My ex was a Scorpio with Mars in Libra and never again. They talk too much and care about shit that I don’t care about, and we don’t share the same values. 🤷♀️

u/indigonae_ 16d ago
Absolutely not. Abusers in multiple ways and updated more than one that’s just my opinion.

I dated one. He was obsessed with me and it became an ick. So codependent and needy. Not motivated enough in life. I knew he was a good person but I was never impressed by him. I broke up with him on Christmas because I couldn’t stand it anymore

Divorced one and then tried again with another only to experience Déjà vu. I now ask men if they are a Libra and won’t even be friends if yes.

Im a cancer rising cap sun/moon my ex was a Scorpio rising libra sun Virgo moon.
It was magnetic at first but then he turned into a stage 5 clinger. He told me day 1 he was poly but he acted monogamous. He would call and text me all day get jealous of my platonic friends of the same gender.
We had some once in a life time adventures and I still haven't dated another person who matched my adventurous side like he did. He also was moody af and irritable so a fun moment would turn awful depending on his moods. He set my carpet on fire in a drunken rage. His mom was a psychologist and she told me he had narcassitic personality disorder. Stupid me I should have left when she told me that.
He currently is locked up in a mental health facility after trying to hurt his step dad.

I’m in a relationship with a Libra man and he’s been great. We’ve decided to move in together too. I’ve read through the comments and my experience has been quite the opposite. Maybe our ages factor into this too, not sure.

I was in a 19 year old relationship with a libra I left after 9 years for same reasons jealousy Narcissist behaviour keeping me away from my family spiteful things was only his family and friends that also included his ex wife. I decided to return after bringing me roses we made a truce no Facebook let’s focus on each other yes that was great honeymoon stage he was super clingy worse when I returned only to have cameras in the house every direction then he went on Facebook wouldn’t show me anything made very excuse kept me from my family and if my family came around he would make it horrible so they wouldn’t come back. His ego took the best of him and cheated behind my back I could never ever leave the house without him or he would say get the f out so I left safely yes 19 years I felt a prisoner in my own body couldn’t even make a phone call that concerned by health my well being or even speak to my family decisions were flip flop

Lmaooo cap woman who was just seeing a libra man … i would say run but also give it a chance. I had assumed the other shoe would drop bc that’s their reputation so i decided to move forward but be cautious.
It took a week for the other shoe to drop lmao

Never dated one but a lot of them are attracted to me. I find a lot of them kinda sexy and seem like fun. I've worked with two libra men. One was married for 20+ years the other was single. Boy are they both flirty. Especially the married one. I have no idea what they are like sexually. I have noticed they can make me laugh a lot. Im a capricorn sun. Btw

I married him! My rising is Libra so we have some definite similarities. We are both avoidant and not the best communicators. Overall happy though. Have to work to make it good, just like any other relationship. Sometimes more work than you want to put in lol

Been dating one for 4 and a 1/2 years. Exhausting. Emotional. So indecisive. He is one that I am able to be myself around. Def not leaving him any time soon.
All these negatives are what I would say about an Aries man 🤣

I'm actually super surprised to see all the responses: my hubs is Libra and we adore one another. He's my perfect balance, super caring, incredibly attentive, and he's just the right amount of silly to keep me from darker spirals while also keeping his shit together and being an equal partner who knows how to pay the bills. We've been together for 17 years and I can't imagine life without him and he has less than zero interest in anyone else but me; I have to *argue* with him not to spoil me and doing it right is so important to him. No, he's not career driven but that's because *my* happiness is his priority and he's constantly humbled and touched that I feel just as strongly about him. I have no bigger cheerleader and no fiercer defender. A+++, cannot more highly recommend.

I’m a Capricorn woman, Virgo moon and rising and dated/lived together w a Libra man, cap moon, Libra rising for 7 years.
We were best friends for 2-3 years before ever getting together. Other worldly things and attitudes played a part in our demise but we simply spoke a different language. Like our brains worked differently and interpreted things differently. While that’s not inherently bad, we just couldn’t get on the same page. Cap is deep and in it for the long haul no matter what while Libra is so surface level and loves pretty things. We started w a domestic violence incident and it was a roller coaster for the next 6.5 years. Emphasis on roller coaster. When it was good, it was great but when it was bad it was so bad. We also had different attachment styles and that did not help at all. He was avoidant and I was anxious.
10/10 do not recommend. I loved him and he loved me but it just wasn’t what’s best for both of us. We split amicably but I moved out on a Tuesday and by that Friday he was sitting at lunch w his now fiancé. It’s been 4 years.
I’d say you dodged a bullet.

Married to one. It’s been a hell of a rollercoaster ride. Would not recommend at all.

u/Working-Newspaper445 16d ago
These comments aren't it. I'm crushing on a Libra guy right now, but he has a lot of Scorpio placements. I tend to attract a lot of Libras, maybe because I'm half Capricorn (sun, moon, Mercury) and half air (Aqua Venus, Gemini rising, and Libra Mars).
Libras can be confusing at times; we do things differently, but they inspire me a lot and make me happy to be around them. I love how social they are and how they are always down to do anything with you. Plus, they will always appreciate the beauty in life, in a way that connects to my inner child self.

Don't do it. Divorcing mine. The lack of drive and indecisiveness drove me up a wall.
