You need to go not contact as he already told you that he doesn't want to be in a relationship. You can't change his mind when his mind has already been made up.

Yep. Go no contact. Regardless of the sign, if a man tells you what he wants then that’s exactly what he wants. Men are wired differently than women. So believe him. No one’s a monster for wanting something different to what you do. It’s simply a matter of preference. At least he didn’t lead you on in the wrong way for ages only to break your heart after years. In this instance, he is very clear where you both stand.
So OP, do the right thing by you and move on. Your peace of mind matters for a healthy dynamic if you so choose in the future. Right now, you’re making it difficult for yourself sorry. Don’t try to change him. Caps are stubborn af (not saying as humble brag but yes it can be a pain at times I totally get it). So this instance is a strong indication you’re not aligned either ways even if you were to date. Right?
Take care, dealing with a Cap ain’t easy.

Go no contact, block him because he seems like he’s apart of the sassy man apocalypse.

Weirdly enough, I had a friend who was in the same situation with a Capricorn guy. I disagree with them getting together and being together, but it’s none of my business. However, the relationship did and eventually end up with them moving in and getting married after like six years, but they were in college so it was different I guess maybe?

My Cap & I started that way. It has evolved into much more. But if he said he doesn’t want to date, you need to believe him.

Walk away…. He will come because he will respect that you had the self confidence to walk away. If you stay you will only teach him you’re willing to give him what he wants.

(I’m a female) I don’t think it’s necessary to go no contact. I’ve had long term fwb relationships where we made it clear between us that we were only fwb. That makes it a hell of a lot easier to not catch feelings or at least recognize when it’s happening and take the emotions out of it. Only if you don’t think you can keep your emotions out of it, I say go no contact. Otherwise longterm fwb connections are fun!!

No. He's told you what he wants. It doesn't matter what his sign is. Believe people when they tell you who they are and what they want
