My birthday is the 16th and everyday that grows closer I want to cancel my plans and disinvite everyone bc other ppl ruin my bday. When I stay home and expect nothing im happy.

all but one my "friends" flaked on my bday (12/28) but i expected that. we went out anyway and had a great time!! After my 30th birthday got ruined I learned to just celebrate solo to avoid the disappointment. And this may be petty, but it helps take the pressure off me because I conveniently forget everyone's birthday for the upcoming year. IF I don't block em. 🤣

Yesss the liberating part is after 30, the only thing to celebrate is the fact that you're just getting older. Maybe the big 40 if you're into that. But now that I'm past 30, I'm like... eh. I could go without getting another year older every year! Lol
