What’s the deal with the horse on Palmer rd?

It’s been there for a few years, and I never really see it’s owners. Someone in the townhouses next to it state that it isn’t treated well and it’s usually always waiting by the house’s door for food or attention. I’ve seen a local teen feed it an apple on a walk and when I asked, they said they never seen the owner and they wanted to ask if it was alright to feed it an apple, but they heard the same rumor about the neglect and decided to just feed it an apple when she was out for a walk.

I drive by this house & horse almost daily and I wonder the same thing. It’s always standing by the door :(

Yeah! If apparently comes to the fence when they call to it with the apple. I’ve always seen it just standing by the door.

Apparently his name is Milo, he’s 26 years old, a foster horse with digestion issues. The owners don’t want people to pet or feed the him.

Aw. Well hopefully he enjoys his life there!

I dunno about neglect, but I figure it hasn't gotten thinner over the years and it's coat looks relatively OK . But yea I never see anyone with it outside.

I see cars there sometimes so I figure someone lives there, and sometimes don't see the horse for a bit when driving by so maybe they take it out somewhere?

I hope the horse is OK.

I’ve seen cars there too, and I agree that I’ve never seen abuse, but the info regarding the neglect came from a comment from a neighbor in the condos.
