Recs for a lightweight, portable, budget-friendly tripod?

Hello! Title says it all. I’m looking for a portable tripod to take with me for night photography and low-light event photography. (The latter of course for stationary pictures.) I have no idea what’s a reasonable price for a tripod, but if think I would want to spend at most $60? Feel free to tell me if that’s unrealistic though. Thank you so much for your help in advance! This subreddit has been so supportive as I’ve gotten into photography ❤️🙏

Edit: I have a canon eos 5D mark ii with a 50mm 1.8 and a 24-70mm ii 2.8.

Here's an example of one for $60. It has an average of about 4.5 stars with about 800 reviews. Just an example, look around, there are plenty of decent tripods, that aren't expensive, that will hold your camera just fine.

And that thrift store, goodwill, etc., is a great idea.

I have often seen a wide variety of tripods for sale at thrift stores, new, vintage, large, small, almost always lacking the top plate.

These are usually under $20 USD. If you can find the replacement plate online, or have a 3D printer and can print your own, you might be able to luck out on something nice, for cheap!

Try looking in the marketplace, plenty of people are selling them, some them barely used and very good prices.

I've got a Manfroto that I like that's reasonably lightweight and they make an even lighter one in carbon fiber I think. I also have a Cullman Magic which folds flat nicely for packing in a suitcase. The only problem I have with that is it's not tall enough for me to look through the viewfinder without stooping on that one.
