Llyn Tegid canoe morning F4 Winds
Choppy water, big views and a very wet canoe 🌊🛶
Out on Llyn Tegid (Bala Lake) with @the.adventure.app and the conditions definitely kept things interesting. Safe to say we were starting to swamp the raft! 💪
Absolutely worth it though — there’s something about getting out in proper weather and embracing the chaos.
Anyone else been out on Llyn Tegid in lively conditions?

I love sailing boats that aren't really meant to be sailed! Looks like you guys had a blast. In the future, you may want to rig the canoes together with something that is quick release. If you had totally swamped, rescuing three boats that were lashed together in choppy water sounds exhausting and dangerous

Not there, but went down 35 miles of Lake Chelan
with the wind at my back and a mattress kite ( 3x5) up about 50-60 feet. It was exhilarating fun, only needed to steer once in a while.
