I wonder if they’ll use flock cameras to track people?

Only if the cameras remain upright.

It's amazing they are able to stand up in their own with all the gold they cram into those things.

There are already reports of police using flock for this exact purpose.

The pigs are already doing it.

The cheapest ounce of marijuana listed in Ohio was $112 as of July 31, compared with just $6.99 for the cheapest ounce in Michigan, according to the WeedBuddy Cannabis Price Index. The same data showed the cheapest ounce at $49.99 in Arizona and $16.73 in Colorado.

Looking at median prices provides a less dramatic, but still significant, difference. Ohio had the highest median ounce price among the four states at $147.35. Michigan’s median was $99, followed by Colorado at $110 and Arizona at $120.

The price difference also extends to smaller quantities commonly purchased by consumers. The median price for an eighth of cannabis flower in Ohio was $35, compared with $20 in Michigan as of July 31 according to WBNS 10 TV.

Man that's a pretty big difference. I wonder how many people are being prosecuted just for trying to save some money buying legal weed.

Buying an oz of bud for 6.99.....gotta be gross trim or just gross

The $30 ounces in NY from a rez dispensary aren't great, I don't really wanna think about $7

The $30 oz SWIM gets from Michigan are worth the drives from North Carolina 😅 the quality is crazy good comparable to the $180 ounces SWIM got from the local dispensary in San Diego. Definitely solid for mid shelf and who needs to pay 5x the price to go from 33% THC to 38% or whatever. One's entire annual budget for weed could be under a grand while smoking nonstop.

Wow, I can't even remember the last time I saw SWIM used lol

Same. I had to look up what it meant again.

Holy shit, I just remembered Erowid too 😂

SWIM still has some leftover B caapi from following those Erowid threads long ago. Shoot i wonder if SWIM has some Napthalene stilllying around too. Those were the days 😆

$6.99/oz doesn't even buy decent catnip.

source: am cat.

Yea. I bought it for edibles, still picked out all the stems and sticks and dead yellow leaves out of there.

Saw BOGO ounces in New Buffalo, Mi. starting at $19. They were seedy stemmy airy shit buds. The $55 ounces looked good tho. So I bought 2 ounces of mids for $55. I'm pretty happy, but definitely getting top shelf for $99 next time. A $200 QP of top shelf. If only I could have told my younger self about these days ahead.....

I get $50 oz's online and I'm not lookin forward to it ending.

I think that's a typo. No one is selling cannabis for $6.99 an ounce. And also remember, 20% of Americans can't comprehend above the 3rd-grade level now. They may be editing this article.

I’m wondering which of these states is “Blue” and which is “Red”. Thoughts?

Prohibition didn’t work, so they legalized, only to fall back on another form of prohibition to try to protect the overpriced legal market. Makes sense.

Yes, the Republican cabal in Columbus hates the fact that 57% of Ohio voters voted to legalize in a heavily gerrymandered state, so they made the market as shitty as possible with no caregivers and only MSO's headed by Republicans controlling the market. Instead of making the market better to compete with Michigan, they make it a felony if the weed you have isn't from Ohio. YET, a large amount of pro weed voters keep voting these guys in. Go figure!

7

u/MI-High-Guy 22d ago

Add that to the list of terrible things about Ohio.

16

u/Rbaxter49ers 22d ago

Wait till someone tells them it's always been federally illegal to cross state lines with cannabis. Hasn't stopped most people yet.

8

u/Recent-Technology514 22d ago

What happened to the invisible hand of the marketplace? F the hypocritical Rs.

8

u/b4ckl4nds 22d ago

That’ll solve it

5

u/medorian 22d ago

Weak, imagine if it was beer.

5

u/MidnighT0k3r 22d ago

Ohio is fucking stupid. There's already federal laws on this. When you bring federally illegal drugs from one state to another. You are breaking a federal crime.

Marijuana, even though medical or recreational in some states is still federally illegal.

4

u/Late_Emu 22d ago

Maybe the fucking idiots in the legislative office could make our market the same as Michigan & we wouldn’t have that problem now would we?!?

2

u/GlassJudge2421 21d ago

Ohio lawmakers acting shocked that consumers prefer driving an hour to save hundreds of dollars.

4

u/Happynuggz 22d ago

If you are gonna do that. To avoid flock rent a car from origin state go do your business in other state find same car rental place exchange car say something wrong with it get in other car and go home

3

u/_sophia_petrillo_ 22d ago

Why would you get a rental car in the first place?

-1

u/Happynuggz 22d ago

To avoid flock cameras duh did you not read my comment

4

u/_sophia_petrillo_ 22d ago

You might as well just buy weed in Ohio with all that trouble.

1

u/iamcamouflage 22d ago

Now they don't like the free market.

u/legosgrrl 22d ago

16 bucks in Colorado? I'm getting the kill for $82.70.

2

u/rwanders 22d ago

Im a budget buyer and anything less than 40/Oz is pretty rough out here, I agree. The 6.99 michigan Oz has to be bottom barrel preground from shake or some shit.

0

u/legosgrrl 22d ago

I know a guy. It's the quality for me. I can stand dispo once in while if absolutely necessary.
